I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for a spacious private room and private bathroom in a beautiful 2B2B apartment in Sawtelle. I’m graduating on June 12 and can move out as early as June 19, but the start date is negotiable. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can stay from late June through the end of June 2027. The apartment is in a great location, just a few blocks from Sawtelle restaurants, cafes, shopping, grocery stores, the Expo Line, and both the 17 and 1 buses to UCLA. About the room/apartment: • Private bedroom with a big window and blinds • Huge walk-in closet • Private bathroom with a large sink and lots of storage • Affordable rent: your share would be $1,200/month plus 1/3 of utilities • Dedicated parking spot in a secure garage at no additional fee. (Roommate doesn’t have a car so there is an extra spot for guests!) • Elevator building, so no stairs required • Dishwasher, central heating/AC, and in-building laundry • Furnished common spaces and a lovely patio/porch area • Responsive building manager who lives in the building • LGBTQ+ friendly household • You’d be living with a lovely lesbian couple who shares the other bedroom/bathroom. One of them is a fellow PhD Bruin! The apartment is pet friendly, but since there is already a cat, we would strongly prefer no more than 1 additional cat or small dog that is used to living with another cat. I’m also open to selling my bed, mattress, bed frame, desk, and rolling chair if you want the room partially furnished and ready to go.
