Acacia

Acacia is an undergraduate residence hall at UCLA, listed by UCLA Housing as De Neve Plaza - Acacia at 341 Charles E. Young Drive West on the Hill. From this hall it is about a 5-minute walk to campus. Acacia is one of the De Neve Plaza buildings; UCLA Housing also lists Birch, Cedar, Dogwood, Evergreen, Fir, Gardenia, and Holly in that plaza, with Dykstra Hall nearby. UCLA classifies De Neve as a plaza residence. Plaza buildings offer double and triple rooms with either a private bathroom or a bathroom shared with an adjoining room. De Neve is arranged as smaller buildings with courtyards and grassy nooks between them. Official plaza amenities include air conditioning, study lounges for the individual buildings, social lounges, and community laundry. Each room is furnished with a twin XL bed, desk, and dresser for every resident. The Dykstra/De Neve Front Desk is in the Acacia building of De Neve Plaza and serves Dykstra Hall, De Neve Plaza, Gardenia, and Holly. De Neve Dining, in the lower level of De Neve Commons, features cuisine inspired by North, Central, and South America. A meal plan is required as part of the on-campus housing contract. For 2026–2027, UCLA Housing places the Interfaith Living Learning Community on De Neve Acacia’s sixth floor, a plaza floor with private bathrooms. Residential Life describes the Interfaith LLC as open to all students, regardless of spiritual or religious practice. Students request up to three LLC preferences on the housing application. UniShack is a comparison page and does not assign rooms. Confirm current room types, LLC placement, dining hours, and housing deadlines on the official UCLA Housing portal. Incoming freshmen who submit a housing application by May 1, 2026 are listed as eligible for guaranteed four consecutive years of housing; submit hall preferences there.
